Emisario submarino<\/h2>\n

El emisario submarino tiene funcionalidad las 24 horas, todos los d\u00edas, desde el 15 de diciembre de 2014 cuando se iniciaron las pruebas operativas a pleno antes de su inauguraci\u00f3n oficial, el 18 de diciembre de ese mismo a\u00f1o.
Los 4.100 metros de tendido en el lecho marino contemplan ca\u00f1er\u00eda de 2 mts de di\u00e1metro, correspondiendo los \u00faltimos 540 mts al difusor que cuenta con un puerto de salida cada 6 mts. Esto, permitiendo descargar hasta 9 mts c\u00fabicos por segundo de efluentes cloacales pretratados.
La ca\u00f1er\u00eda empleada, vale recordar, es polietileno de alta densidad (PEAD) de 2 mts de di\u00e1metros y 8 cent\u00edmetros de espesor; y para garantizar su estabilidad en el fondo marino lleva colocados lastres de hormig\u00f3n armado fijados a la misma con pesos de 18 y 7 toneladas cada 6 y 12 mts respectivamente. La obra se inici\u00f3 el 1 de abril de 2009.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
